Cables for Homes appliances

Cables for homes are used to inter-connect electric devices inside of machines.
In 2004, restrictions on using six RoHS prohibited substances were established in order to meet the requirements for global environmental preservation in line with European laws on restricted substances.

Use

- For Secondary Cabling Inside Machinery: Connects the power supply system inside machinery to the internal board.
- For Motor Leads: Connects the power supply system inside machinery to the motor.
- For High Voltage Circuit Cabling: Inter-connects the high voltage generation devices inside machinery.
- For Display Signals: Connects the display panel to the internal board.

Types

Lead Free Wire
Used for secondary cabling inside machinery and motor leads. This is an environmentally friendly product that contains none of the six RoHS prohibited substances.

Halogen-free Wire
Used for secondary cabling inside machinery and motor leads. This is an environmentally friendly product that contains neither halogen elements harmful to human body nor six RoHS prohibited substances.

Flexible LCD Wire
Used for power supply to the backlight unit of panels such as LCD TVs and monitors. This product can endure a high voltage (e.g., 3kV and 6kV).

High-Voltage TV Wire
Used for the FBT unit inside of CRT TVs Teflon Wire: This product has great heat resistance due to fluorocarbon resin and mechanical characteristics. Also, it is compact and has excellent chemical resistance.

FFC
Used for interfaces within machinery that require small size, light weight, and resistance to friction.

Industrial Cables

Examples of industrial cables include Factory Automation (FA) cables used for signals and power sources for various robots where FA is applied as well as military cables, which have intense durability requirements.

Use

FA Cables
Robot cables that operate repetitively and are used for cables for sending signals between management operation rooms and FA equipment

Military Cables
Used for sending signals and/or power to weaponry such as tanks, aircraft and naval vessels.

Types

FA Cable
Composite conductors using ultra fine lines are used to tolerate long-term repetitive movements. Since irradiation cross-linking is performed and highly functional materials are ed and used, the durability of the insulation has been improved. The internal core of ROFHU is made of Teflon, which has a high mechanical strength. The skin of ROFHU is made of urethane, which also has high strength and is grease proof. Thus, it enables 10 million repetitive movements to ensure high quality.

Military Cable
Since 1990, LS Cable has led the localization of military cable manufacturing for defense industries, which depend on bulk quantities. In 2000, our efforts were recognized and won approval for the localization of defense industry projects from the Agency of Defense Development and Defense Quality Assurance Agency. Currently, we are developing componentry for military equipment such as armored personnel carriers and tanks, various electronic gear such as radars and communication devices, and cables for non-toxic, highly fire retardant naval vessels. LS Cable does its best to contribute to defense industries so as to improve national defense.

Cables for Communications

Examples of the cables used for communications are RG coaxial cables for transmitting high frequency signals of wired/wireless communication systems, network cables for industrial communication and control systems, micro-coaxial cables for transmitting high capacity data signals from mobile phones and for ultrasonic medical devices, and special coaxial cables for special uses.

Types

Network Cable
This product has been remodeled to fit standard products to be compatible with traditional communication systems and to meet all application requirements. It is highly reliable for signal transmittance.
RG Coaxial Cable: This product conforms to Mil-C-17, a U.S. Department of Defense standard. Possesses excellent high frequency transmittance and elasticity properties since PTFE-type insulation is used. It ensures excellent reliability of signals when this cable is installed even in areas subject to high winds. It is light weight and has high mechanical strength, aging resistance and voltage resistance.

Micro-coaxial Cable
This product minimizes the space required for assembly by precisely processing ultra-fine lines. It enables high speeds and the correct transference of high capacity data at a low loss. It ensures tropism/resistance and flexibility in any moving part.
Special Coaxial Cable: This highly functional product ensures excellent performance and reliability for special uses.
